Asheboro Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Asheboro, North Carolina. The course is open for public play.
The course first opened for play in 1954. The back nine, designed by Russell Breeden, was added in 1970. The course was recently redesigned by Jim Bivins.
Water comes into play on ten holes. The fairways are tree lined and narrow. The reens have a reputation of being well maintained and fast.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,473 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,787 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 8, a par-5 that plays to 519 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 10, a par-3 that plays to 155 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 402-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Asheboro Country Club is # 10, a 155 yard par-3.
